Dr. Oluchi Okezie is a Medical Doctor and Public Health Specialist with over 12 years of experience gathered across health institutions in Nigeria and globally. Firstly, She qualified as a medical practitioner from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and has worked in various public, and private health institutions and non-governmental organizations. Secondly, She has an award in Master in Public Health (Epidemiology) and Ph.D. in Public Health (Health Policy and Planning) from the Texila American University and a Diploma in Field Epidemiology from the University of Albany USA. In addition, she is a Medical Doctor and Public Health Specialist with over 12 years of experience gathered across health institutions in Nigeria and globally. is a founding member and Medical Director of Dovaheights Dialysis Center Limited. She was instrumental in the formation of the organization and oversees all medical/clinical activities at the Center. Dr. Oluchi Okeziee moved to Rwanda in 2015 where she worked in the Primary health sector under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the World Health Organization. She currently works with the United Nations Development Project and United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan where she provides medical support to all regions in the country, managing disease outbreaks and drafting policies for health institutions. Her key clinical areas of interest include management of chronic and infectious diseases, neglected tropical and vaccine-preventable diseases, medical research, disease surveillance, monitoring and evaluation, primary health care, maternal and child health, and emergency medicine. Dr. Oluchi is a seasoned health professional and recipient of awards for her research and contributions to addressing health needs in underserved populations across continents. In conclusion, She is happily married and enjoys writing and playing chess in her leisure.
